Joy, laughter and tears. This wedding had it all. The City Club of Washington, D.C. in Columbia Square did a great job and were a pleasure to work with again. I hope Molly and Jason find a reason for me to photograph them again soon, they, too, were fun to work with!

Matisyahu came to AOL’s studio the other day to do a one-on-one interview with himself. This is where my idea came from to pose him with himself for the portrait, not at the same time of course. That’s when I sprinkled my magical Photoshop dust.

Better than Sears baby photography

When I was approached by a former colleague to photograph her baby daughter, I was excited to broaden my horizons and try and take some candids of a baby. I was a tad nervous, to be honest, because there are photographers who specialize in baby photography (and dog photography!), and I didn’t know whether I’d be able to capture the child’s personality. Turns out my fears were all for nothing. They say on American Idol, “If you can sing, you can sing the phone book.” I say, “If you can photograph, you can photograph a phone book.” Or something like that… speaking of American Idol, stay tuned for my photos of former contestant Brooke White.

I have so many great shots from this wedding that I had to install a gallery plug-in (view below) for the blog because there were too many to post individually. It was too difficult to edit down.
